Ran the E26 for a couple days at a landscaping site. It's light, easy to get onto a smaller trailer, but don't expect loads of muscle either. I liked that it's not too complicated-jump in and you're good to go, none of that annoying computer stuff that's starting to show up everywhere now. Foot pedals are a bit cramped, I'm not a fan but it's nothing I can't put up with. No leaks or breakdowns so reliability gets a pass. Not sure about long-term service, didn't get into that. I did like the visibility, just wish that seat moved back a little more. Works for digging around fences and tight spots.

Using the E26, I appreciate its compact design, which made it easy to maneuver in tight spaces on building sites. However, the engine noise was notable during idle. The controls are intuitive, streamlining operations for new users. Fuel efficiency is another highlight of this model. It represents a solid choice for professionals.

I recently had the opportunity to operate the Bobcat E50, and I've got a few observations. First off, the power this machine offers for its size is commendable-it really gets the digging done efficiently. The cab design is spacious; even during extended use, I didn't feel cramped. However, while the noise suppression is solid, the auxiliary features, like the eco mode, seemed a tad perplexing to navigate initially. It’s a good choice, but every machine has its quirks.

I've been on quite a few different compact minis and the Bobcat E26 is pretty decent for its size. Used it on some trenching jobs lately. The bucket breakout force feels pretty solid, not everything but enough for what this class can do. Digging depth is alright for most work I do - not breaking any limits but gets the trenches done. The controls are smooth, but I wish the hydro lines weren't so exposed, just worry about banging them up on brush. The sealed cab version is good during the summer, AC actually seems to work okay, but the pressurization isn't perfect - still gets a little dusty. Service side of things is manageable, random parts are not always in stock but that's not just a Bobcat thing. Not the cheapest to rent compared to other minis this size, but nothing too wild either. For my usual small jobs, it gets the job done just fine.

I’ve had the E26 in tight spots, and it does get the job done. The smaller size helped us navigate restricted access areas without damaging the surroundings, though it does limit the digging reach in some instances. Maintenance-wise, it’s simple enough to address issues on-site, just keep an eye on the fluid levels regularly.

I’ve had some time using the Bobcat E26 and, overall, it’s a solid piece of equipment. The digging capabilities are reliable; that 9-foot-plus depth is a definite plus. The hydraulic flow is sufficient for most attachments I've tried, though in heavy-use situations, it could feel a touch underpowered. The cab, especially with the HVAC option, adds comfort during longer hours, but accessing controls feels slightly cramped at times. Maintenance access is fairly straightforward. Pricing seems fair for what you get. If you’re in the market for this class of mini excavator, it’s worth considering.

Used the Bobcat E26 on a recent project. It's overall a reliable piece of equipment. One thing I noticed is that while its hydraulic system performs decently, there's minor wear visible on certain components; though it didn't noticeably affect operations during use. The cab offers a reasonable level of comfort. Digging efficiency was satisfactory, and maintenance seems straightforward.

I had the opportunity recently to operate the Bobcat E26 compact excavator. Its operational simplicity stood out to me, making it well-suited for operators new to construction equipment. The seating area provides considerable comfort, even during extended sessions. Additionally, its bright and functional work lights enable clear visibility during nighttime tasks. The auto-idle feature demonstrates excellent fuel efficiency. However, I found maintenance accessibility could be slightly improved upon.

Using the Bobcat E50 has been a generally positive experience. I appreciate the attention to operator comfort with spacious controls and visibility enhancements. The machine's fuel efficiency is commendable. Nonetheless, I felt the traction on soft ground could be improved under heavy loads. While no equipment is perfect, this one comes close for various scenarios.

As someone who has operated various excavators, the Bobcat E50 stands out for certain aspects. The control system is responsive, making precise tasks manageable. Fuel efficiency is acceptable, and the machine's build suggests longevity with proper care. On the downside, the reduced visibility from the operator's seat might require adjustments. For mid-size projects, this model fulfills its role well.
