New Shanding SD17E mini excavator

The SD17E is a 1420kg zero-tail mini excavator developed specifically for confined working environments.
Featuring a compact and agile structure together with retractable tracks, it easily navigates narrow spaces such as gateways, greenhouses and indoor doorways.

Widely used for landscaping renovation, municipal pipeline trenching, yard construction, farm work and small earthmoving projects. It comes with an enclosed cabin to support all-weather operation.

Certified with CE, it meets procurement requirements for European and overseas markets.

Bucket width is 430 mm with a bucket capacity of 0.03 m³, and the maximum bucket breakout force reaches 18 kN.
It delivers outstanding working performance: maximum digging radius 3515 mm, maximum digging depth 2200 mm, maximum digging height 3315 mm, and maximum dumping height 2150 mm.

The boom is capable of side swing: 45° to the left and 65° to the right. It allows excavation work close to walls and fences without frequent machine repositioning, greatly improving working efficiency on tight job sites.

Travel speed is 1.6 km/h, gradeability up to 30°, and ground pressure is 35 kPa, which prevents sinking on soft ground.

The tracks are adjustable in width: 960 mm when retracted and 1260 mm when extended, balancing easy passage and operational stability.
A dozer blade comes as standard for land leveling and backfilling while stabilizing the machine during operation.

Powered by a Laidong KM385 3-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine. Max power: 29 kW (39.5 HP), maximum speed 2200 rpm, displacement 1.55 L. Water cooling ensures stable continuous long-hour operation.
Engine oil capacity is 4 L, compatible with No.2‑D diesel fuel.
Spare parts are widely available on the market, keeping later maintenance costs low.

The enclosed cabin is fitted with a windshield wiper and working lights, dust-proof and noise-reducing to improve operator comfort.
