So I got to spend some shifts on this Jungheinrich ETV 214. Been driving reach trucks since before most guys here could reach the pedals. First thing, it's a 2007, lift height 6.5 meters. Not crazy high, but gets through most standard doors, which is honestly handy. Our warehouse has a lot of 3-meter doors, so didn't have to stress about that. But yeah, compared to newer reach trucks, wish it could lift higher. Climbing into the cab is not perfect, handles are up high and the step feels just awkward unless you're used to it, but honestly after a few days I didn't notice much.
The joystick (multi-pilot) handles everything, and I mean everything. At first, I kept hitting the wrong buttons and I was nervous I'd break something 'cause, man, that joystick looks expensive to fix. But once I got used to it, it's slick. Just hope it doesn't break, 'cause that's gonna suck. The display is fine, you see battery and stuff easy enough. Comfort is decent, seat adjustment is there, nothing special but my back wasn't screaming. If you've got rough floors, you might feel it.
Overall, not blowing my mind, but honestly no major complaints either. The multi-function controls are cool once you know 'em.

Tried out the ETV 214 recently. The adjustable steering modes were surprisingly functional in tight spaces. It’s easy to maneuver even in narrow aisles. However, the seat adjustment mechanism felt slightly outdated, lacking smoother operation. Maintenance could become costly if the joystick system faces issues. Performance-wise, it's reliable and gets the job done.
