martillo. El eje está en lo que se denomina la cámara de corte. En esta cámara
hay instaladas unas placas reforzadas donde el material se golpea empujado por
los martillos
Cuando
el rotor gira
los martillos impulsan el material contra estas placas y lo
destroza por impacto. El rotor de estos molinos suele girar a altas velocidades
de entre 400 y 600 r.p.m. lo que produce la fuerza suficiente para trocear y
aplastar el producto consiguiendo la reducción de tamaño
